Dubai Culture launches Al Talli open call for Sikka 2023

In celebration of artists, creatives and designers, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is beginning preparations to organise the 11th edition of Sikka Art and Design Festival that will be held from 24 February to 5 March 2023 in Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood. Through the festival, Dubai Culture seeks to present an exceptional edition that reflects the growing artistic and creative scene in Dubai. Dubai Culture has announced the launch of the open call for the festival's 2023 edition, and invites all creatives, artists and designers to submit their work for exhibition. Dubai Culture also invites artists to submit works incorporating or inspired by Al Talli as the Authority is dedicating spaces to showcase Al Talli in Sikka Art & Design Festival for the first time. The Authority began receiving applications from 24 November, with the submission deadline being 31 December 2022.

Hello Summer
Dubai Culture invites all community members to join a vibrant lineup of innovative experiences this June through its flagship initiative, School of Life, which is part of Dubai’s Quality of Life Strategy. Under the theme ‘Hello Summer,’ the programme will feature 18 hands-on activities across the Impact Track and a variety of themed clubs, focused on literature, health and nutrition, chess, family development, language, career, art, and calligraphy.
