Beautiful works of art deserve to be seen. And what better place to showcase them, than the great outdoors?
The ‘Outdoor Art Project’ by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is showcasing billboard-sized art pieces in public spaces at key locations across Dubai. Ten Emirati artists took part in the project, which celebrates the richness of cultural identity of the UAE. The collection is as varied as Dubai’s cultural fabric, from the evolving skyline in mixed media to abstract renditions inspired by the UAE’s heritage. The initiative coincided with Art Dubai and the Bastakiya Art Fair. You can see the works at these locations:
