It has already achieved great success in fostering the growth of a dynamic local film industry through the Gulf Film Festival. This annual event showcases the best of Arabic cinema from Gulf countries, providing a wonderful platform to filmmakers from the region. At the same time, it also presents international cinema to expose local film makers to the best of world cinema and foster the development of a film culture in the region.
