13ft high model of ‘My Vision,’ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed’s book on display at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai
Dubai; May 13, 2010: A large-size model of My Vision – Challenges in the Race for Excellence, the book by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, on display at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai. In close proximity to the Dubai International Financial Centre, the Dubai World Trade Centre and Sheikh Zayed Road, the location of the 13 ft high model was selected to highlight His Highness Sheikh Mohammed’s vision of developing Dubai into a modern business hub.
The initiative, led by the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), is part of a campaign launched to highlight the Dubai Public Library’s new brand identity, following the reassignment of its management to Dubai Culture. The campaign aims to promote the importance of reading, and reiterates His Highness’s vision to create a knowledge-based economy and further elevating the position of Dubai’s public libraries as community centres for knowledge sharing and intercultural dialogue. It also serves to remind the public that a wide range of their choice of books and reference materials can be accessed at any of the eight Public Libraries located across Dubai.
